Barnes Vision Center: A Rustic Retreat

The Vision

When designing the Barnes Vision Center, the main goal was to create a space that felt warm, inviting and comfortable. The client wanted a space that felt like a rustic retreat, while still maintaining a professional atmosphere. To accomplish this, we used a "barn chic" design approach, with a focus on natural materials and cozy finishes.

The Color Scheme

The color scheme for the Barnes Vision Center is centered around warm, earthy tones. We used a lot of browns, greens and oranges to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The walls are painted a soft, creamy white, which helps to offset the darker furniture and finishes. To add a pop of color, we used a deep teal on the accent wall behind the reception desk.

The Furniture

To maintain the "barn chic" design approach, we used a lot of natural materials in the furniture selection. We chose pieces made from reclaimed barn wood, wrought iron and other rustic finishes. The reception desk is made from a large, reclaimed barn door, which adds a unique and interesting touch. The seating in the waiting area is comfortable and inviting, with plush cushions and soft fabrics.

The Lighting

The lighting in the Barnes Vision Center is warm and cozy, with a focus on natural light. Large windows were installed to allow plenty of natural light to flood the space. To supplement the natural light, we used warm, soft lighting fixtures throughout. We chose fixtures made from wrought iron and other rustic materials to complement the overall design approach.

The Decor
